My work portrays an intimacy and tension of an instantly formed relationship between the viewer and depicted figures in a captured moment.
I use colour and composition to represent the ambient atmosphere and emotion required in my given scenarios.
Often the final composition is very different from my initial concept, as my impression suffers many changes throughout the journey to completion.
Drawing and painting have been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. My first exhibited work, was hung in the Lewisham Town Hall at the age of nine while at junior school in London.
After moving to Birchington, I attended Thanet Schoool of Art in Margate.
Many years later I attended Canterbury Christchurch University and graduated with a BA Honours in painting.
I have exhibited in many exhibitions locally and London, not managed a solo one yet though!
My paintings have found homes in many parts of the world, USA, Belgium, Portugal, Spain and Slavinia.
